Transcripts

Transcripts is Carbon Arc's library of expert research and transcript content. Browse, purchase, and access interviews with industry experts through the Platform or programmatically via the API.

What are Transcripts?

Transcripts are full-length, expert interviews covering companies, industries, and market themes. Each transcript captures a moderated conversation with a vetted specialist — for example, a former operator, supply-chain leader, or industry executive — discussing the dynamics they know firsthand.

Every transcript includes:

Title and summary — a concise description of what the conversation covers.
Entities and topics — tags linking the transcript to the companies, tickers, and themes discussed, so you can connect it to the rest of your Carbon Arc research.
Interview details — recording date, duration, region, language, and transcript type.
Anonymized expert profile — the expert's relevant background and experience, with personal identity protected.

All interviews are conducted under compliance guidelines. Experts confirm at the start of each session that they will not disclose material non-public or confidential information.

Finding transcripts

Open Transcripts from the navigation menu to browse the library.

Search and filters

Use the sidebar to narrow the library to what matters to you:

Search — find transcripts by keyword across titles and summaries.
Entity — filter to transcripts tagged with a specific company, ticker, or topic.
Region — focus on a geography (e.g., North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe).
Transcript type — such as expert interviews.
Interview date — restrict results to a date range.
Purchased — show only transcripts you already own.

Results can be sorted by title, interview date, or publish date.

Transcript cards

Each result shows the transcript's title, summary, interview date, duration, region, and entity tags at a glance, along with its price or purchased status.

Viewing a transcript

Click any transcript to open its detail page. There you'll find:

Overview — the title, interview date, duration, and key stats.
Entities & Topics — every company and theme tagged in the conversation.
About This Transcript — a summary of the discussion. The full interview stays locked until purchase.

Purchasing a transcript

Transcripts are purchased with Carbon Arc tokens.

Open the transcript you want.
Check the price and your available balance in the Download Transcript panel. Only Primary wallet tokens can be used for transcript purchases.
Click Buy. The purchase completes immediately and the transcript unlocks for your account.

A purchase is one-time: once you own a transcript, it remains available to you — you can re-download it at any time at no additional cost.

If your balance is too low, the purchase button is disabled and the panel shows how many tokens you need. Contact your team administrator or support@carbonarc.co about adding tokens.

Downloading a transcript

After purchase, the Download Transcript panel offers:

TXT — the full interview as plain text, ideal for feeding into your own tools and workflows.

API access

Everything available in the Platform — browsing the library, retrieving transcript details, purchasing, and downloading content — can also be done programmatically via the Carbon Arc API, so you can integrate transcripts directly into your research pipelines and applications. Access

Transcripts is available on eligible Carbon Arc accounts. If the feature isn't enabled for your account, you'll see a notice when opening the Transcripts page. To request access or learn more, contact support@carbonarc.co.

FAQ

What tokens can I use? Transcript purchases draw from your Primary wallet token balance.

Do purchased transcripts expire? No. Once purchased, a transcript stays available to your account and can be re-downloaded whenever you need it.
