Key Releases
Open Source Development Activity (CA0098) now in Platform
Open Source Development Activity is now live in Platform. It offers a daily view of how much code a company is shipping, who is contributing, which repositories are gaining attention, and which AI tools and models developers are adopting. Every record maps to company, brand, and ticker, so it joins directly with the rest of the Carbon Arc Ontology.
YouTube Analytics (CA0094) now in Block
YouTube Analytics is now available in Block. It delivers full-text transcripts of 4,000+ videos daily from roughly 100 finance, markets, and business YouTube channels, including CNBC, Schwab Network, Morgan Stanley, and BBC News. Each video includes channel and video details (title, description, publish date, duration, and language), a transcript broken into timestamped segments, and a topic label such as company news or stock commentary.
Document Search via MCP
The Carbon Arc MCP can now search and pull information from 10-Ks and 10-Qs, earnings transcripts, financial news, and investment theses. Users can bring context from filings and transcripts into the same workflow as their Carbon Arc platform data assets. Use prompts such as "Summarize the latest news on Tesla" and "What's the strongest bear case on Carvana, and what in the filings backs it up?"
Prism Arrays
We've published our first three Arrays in Prisms. Arrays are Prism indices that track sector growth and update daily for benchmarking. We've also added API support for retrieving Prism Framework payloads, which streamlines purchasing.
Search Improvements
Search across the Carbon Arc platform is now faster and more accurate, with notably better handling of typos and partial matches. The search experience also has a smoother interface, and we've added tooling to measure and improve search quality over time.
Platform Enhancements
The Data Library has a refreshed set of UI enhancements that make it easier to browse and explore. We've fixed an issue affecting large frameworks and cleaned up ontology representations so entities display more consistently. We've also retired the OpenBB integration from the platform.
Foot Traffic (CA0060) and App Intelligence (CA0054) Enhancements
We've made several enhancements to Foot Traffic and App Intelligence for a cleaner, more consistent experience. The category hierarchy no longer includes categories derived from companies. Each company entity now maps to a single ticker. For App Intelligence, the Daily and Monthly tables now show start and end dates more clearly.
