Credit Card - U.S. Private Label (CA0058G)
We're excited to announce the availability of the U.S. Consumer Card Transactions data asset (CA0058G), an anonymized panel of U.S. consumer credit card transactions sourced from a major private-label and co-brand card issuer. The data captures roughly 420 million transactions across over 37 million accounts and 789K merchants since April 2015, delivered daily. Data includes transaction date, amount, merchant descriptor and SIC code, industry and program line, and transaction type normalized, quality-assessed, and connected to the Carbon Arc ontology for easy joining with other data
MCP Server Updates
This release significantly expands the Carbon Arc MCP Server with new tools, smarter search, and major improvements to quality, performance, and security.
New capabilities include:
- Ontology Graph Tool: Search and explore the Carbon Arc knowledge graph using natural language. Browse companies, people, products, and other entities, explore relationships and hierarchies, export results to CSV, and request new entities directly through MCP.
We've also improved entity resolution, added support for new query types like list and count responses, expanded semantic search, and introduced performance and reliability enhancements that make it faster and easier to find the right data. Behind the scenes, this release strengthens user-level access controls, automated quality evaluation, release validation, observability, and auditing to deliver a more secure and reliable MCP experience.
Platform & SDK Enhancements
This release includes a number of platform enhancements: PDF download support has been added to the Carbon Arc Python SDK. On the Ontology page, all Entity Representations now appear in the sidebar under the Entities tab, so users can search and select entity types like Websites or Service Brands directly. We've also fixed a UI bug affecting the profile dropdown on Entity graph views.
On the Python SDK side, get_data_dictionary now includes Block Panels for all applicable data assets, and collect_framework_filters now returns all available filter options including ones like Method of Payment or Employee Type, not just defaults such as date or location.
Concert Box Office Data (CA0011) Deprecation
The Concert Box Office data feed (CA0011) has been deprecated and is no longer available on the Platform, following the vendor's decision to discontinue API licensing for all customers, effective immediately. The historical data covering 10k+ artists, 1 million events, and $55bn in box office revenue over 26 years, back to 1999 remains available for block purchase.
