Lenses Enhancements

  • UI & discoverability improvements: Persona selection from home page, updated marketing page, chat management, and scrolling enhancements

We have introduced a guided tour in Lenses to walk new users through Carbon Arc’s capabilities, available Data Assets, and the types of questions the platform can answer.

The tour surfaces relevant Data based on sector selection and provides example queries to help users get productive quickly.  Users can launch the tour from the banner at the top of agent selection or directly within a new chat session.

Research Center

The Research Center is a new public-facing page on carbonarc.ai that showcases Carbon Arc’s library of data-driven case studies and analyses.

Users can browse and search across categories like Sector, Economic, and Company Spotlights, Monthly Reports, and Briefs & Infographics, with filtering by dataset, sorting (newest or A–Z), and a “NEW” badge on content published in the last 30 days. Each piece links out to the full report.

Maritime Vessel Data

We’re launching a new Maritime vessel callings dataset in block, offering a detailed view of global shipping activity and trade flows. Sourced from a maritime intelligence provider aggregating vessel movement data from 55+ global partners, the dataset tracks arrivals and departures at the port, terminal, anchorage, and berth level. Each record includes vessel identifiers (IMO, name, type, flag, tonnage) along with precise arrival and departure timestamps in both UTC and local time.

Key coverage:

  • 200,000+ vessels across 200+ countries
  • 9,000+ global ports
  • East Asian manufacturing trade routes and major transshipment hubs
  • 65,000+ tagged vessels in the Carbon Arc aggregated product (coming soon)
  • Historical coverage beginning January 31, 2026
