Key Releases

Open-Source Development Activity (CA0098) in Block

This new data asset tracks developer engagement and AI adoption trends across the open-source ecosystem. It includes daily GitHub engagement (stars, forks, watchers) on repos mapped to public equities and a broader open-source universe, with history back to 2008.

Users also get visibility into AI model demand at the provider and model level (downloads, likes, trending) to see which AI players are gaining developer mindshare, engineering activity per project (commits, PRs, issues, developer counts, and retention cohorts) alongside a Code Development Quality Index (CDI), and AI tooling adoption within codebases — including Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI, Anthropic, and LangChain usage, plus package managers, cloud providers, and frameworks — all mapped to Carbon Arc brands.
