Medical Claims Update

Medical Claims Update: On Wednesday, 2/11, we are introducing a new Medical Segment by Procedure Code topic for Medical Claims (CA0049) data. This update provides greater transparency and more granular detail in the underlying data with the addition of procedure codes, enabling deeper analysis and more precise use cases.

As part of this enhancement, clients who wish to maintain access to Medical Claims will be required to execute an amendment. Please reach out to us at support@carbonarc.co for a copy of the amendment.

Truck Volume

We’ve launched a new Truck Volume topic capturing less-than-truckload (LTL) freight activity, where multiple shippers’ goods are consolidated into a single route. This pricing intelligence dataset tracks monthly freight cost indices across:

  • Four freight class groupings: 50, 70, 92, 125
  • Five distance bands: city, short, mid, tweener, long haul

Data is available at both national and regional levels.
