Brand Review Data Launch

Business to business review information featuring over one million reviews on company products and services. Key metrics include Review Counts and Star Ratings on thousands of product and service brands.

Medical + Pharmacy Claims Updates

We’ve updated the Insight Builder for Medical + Rx claims data to enhance performance and usability. Diagnosis code and description granularity have been moved from the filters and remain available in the data frame. You can now select from a higher-level ICD-10 classification system (20 categories) to build an insight, which we hope will result in a more streamlined experience.

Trade Claims View Updates

We have updated our Trade Claims views to improve the user experience. We have consolidated our Trade Claims by HS Codes and - Pairwise trading views together, and adding trading partners to our core panel Trade Claims topics. With these consolidated views, all filters and API responses returning under 10 seconds. The new structure simplifies analysis and should ensure consistency across trade dimensions.

Tagging Enhancements to Card – EU Detailed Panel

We are continuing to enhance our mapping technology and are rolling out updates to our Card – EU Detailed Panel this week. You should expect to see coverage increase over the next few weeks and please let us know if you have any specific brands you’d like added.

Ticker Standardization

In an effort to standardize our ontology, we will be updating some of our ticker names to align with Bloomberg terminology. The updates will go live with next week’s product release. Ticker carc_ids will remain the same.

Data Library Enhancements

Several UI updates went live this week. Our Tear sheets have been updated to include a new Dataset ID. This is a ID to help you match a dataset tear sheet to builder tools. We added subject-level filtering, and title repositioning for clarity. Additional columns have been integrated into the table view in the Library. These changes should streamline navigation and improve utility.

Card - US and CAN General by Overlap (Cross Shopper) Views Added

New by Overlap (Cross Shopper) views have been added to the Platform. We have also removed the “Total Number of Customers” metrics in to reduce confusion and aligned documentation accordingly.

App Page Cleanup

We’ve removed the legacy Apps page from the Platform ridgeline to reduce clutter and improve core navigation. This is part of an ongoing effort to simplify the user experience and surface only what’s essential.

Card – US and CAN General Panel and POS – Online and Instore Data Quality Notice

Between April 28 and this week, Card – US and CAN General Panel and POS – Online and Instore data assets included duplicate transactions for dates prior to April 20, 2025. As a result, any data pulls during this window that included earlier time periods will reflect inflated spend values. Please reach out to support@carbonarc.co or your primary Carbon Arc contact for more information.
